Galaxy S22

Since updating earlier today, I have noticed 2 issues with my S22:

1. There is now a very much UNWANTED Gesture Navigation Bar visible beneath my dock that I ABSOLUTELY ABHOR every bit as much as I DESPISE the 3 Navigation Buttons.

2. The Swipe gestures no longer function as perfectly as they did BEFORE the update.

I would like to:

1. Make the Gesture Navigation Bar as nonexistent as biggoot and...

2. Make a swipe from the bottom left of the screen cause Recent Apps Screen to open, a swipe from bottom middle of the screen cause a return to the Home Screen and a swipe from the bottom right of the screen to cause whatever app I'm using to go back to the previous screen.

There does not seem to be a way to "hide/remove" the Gesture Navigation Bar, nor does there seem to be a way to assign the gestures themselves. Is there anything that can be done? Or would a non-Samsung phone be able to better provide the features and customizations I prefer?

You can get the gestures back by downloading GoodLock App / Navstar Module from the Galaxy Store.

If You Need Instructions:

āƒ   Go to the Samsung Galaxy Store  >
āƒ   Download Good Lock app  >
āƒ   Then open It  >
āƒ   Scroll down & download NavStar  >
āƒ   Then open NavStar  >
āƒ   Turn NavStar switch On  >
āƒ   Choose Swipe Gestures (If Off)
āƒ   Enable Extra Gestures Settings  >

āƒ  Then go to phone settings  >
āƒ   Display  >
āƒ   Navigation Bar  >
āƒ   Choose Swipe Gestures  >
āƒ   Press More Options  >
āƒ  Choose Swipe from Bottom  >
āƒ   Turn Gestures Hints Off.
(If you don't want the 3 bars showing)
