MEGA THREAD: One UI 6 General Feedback

Awful update of one UI 6. Recently upgraded my s22 ultra to one UI 6 and I really wanna go back. Last time I wrote about the issues in the gallery app, video player in gallery app, and notification panel. After discovering more things about new update is that now I can't play my audio in 2 different Bluetooth speakers at once using media control. I also can't switch back and forth the audio from Bluetooth speaker to my phone speaker and to achieve this I either need to disconnect the speaker or turn off the Bluetooth. This is getting absurd, day by day. These are all my daily activities in life and samsung have completely messed things around and there is no going back. Very poor update from samsung especially at the time of Christmas and season of music. The developers of this  upgrade have arbitrarily made changes without thinking about the users.

Some ppl don't get it about this trashy update. Why do you wanna download another icon set when it was on your phone before tha update smh. Why you wanna download anything to your phone when it was on your phone before tha update? Ppl are not tha same in liking things. You have your likes and other ppl have their likes. If ppl were tha same this world would be boring. Cuz you'll already know what you are about to do. And why fix something that wasn't broken??? Developers, just fix tha **bleep** thing smh

One UI 6 seems like it was rushed out with not much thought put into it. My Z Fold 5 no longer fast charges after the latest update was installed. This phone was totally fine BEFORE the One UI 6 update. There are many other people facing similar issues with the battery software side of things. Naturally there are some who are quick to give unhelpful and untested "solutions" such as restarting the phone, wiping the cache partition, changing the charge brick and cable...which does not have anything to do with bad code in the battery software for One UI 6. Back to my non-Samsung phone I go until this issue is officially acknowledged from Samsung but given their terrible track record I highly doubt it.

I would just like the emojis to be changed back. They were way better before. Now they look outdated and boring . I'm a big emoji user and these new ones lack emotion; which is the whole point.

It was mentioned earlier but I want to stressed it: minimal brightness is WAY more bright then before! This was something I was instantly In love when I bought the phone in 2022. Now it's so bright!! Extra dimming button barely works, and top shelf is actually lighter in dark mode!

The inbuilt video and photo editor updates after one UI 6 are terrible. They are totally different from the previous ones. Lots of old features are now gone. I used to combine 2 videos and make it one, but now that option is gone. I can now combine videos using the studio app, but I can't edit or trim the video. Please roll out updates and fix the regular usage things. Fix the quick settings panel. Fix the inbuilt video player.

The option is there but there is a different way to access it. Try this:

1. Open the Studio app. 
2. Open the project
3. Ensure that you have at least one video added. 
4. Click directly on the video segment in the timeline. This will provide you the usual handles at the end of the video for trimming the start and end frames.

As a beta tester for One UI 6 and now the "official" release for the S23U, the camera quality of pics has been downgraded.

The software interface itself for the camera has improved, with easier access to controls and settings, but the picture quality, accuracy with colors, resolution with the various lenses has degraded. 

Is this so Samsung can sell more 24 Ultras? 

When I first got the S23U, I was so impressed with the picture quality. 

After One UI6, not so much...

I could probably go back into pics pre-One UI6 but they would not be a direct comparison. Several people during beta testing noted the same issues. Photo quality seemed quite a bit better on One UI5.
