Galaxy S22My S22 ultra notifications are always sounding through the phone itself, and never through my Sony WH-1000MX3 headphones. The phone vibrates each time, too, which is unwanted when headphones are connected.
The headphones are showing as connected for both calls and audio in the Bluetooth settings.
This is a recent regression. It didn't use to be the case. Notifications always sounded through Bluetooth in the past.
I am on an airplane right now with Wifi. I don't want to disturb passengers with the nearly nonstop notifications from various apps. If I put the phone in Do not disturb mode, the notifications are all muted. However, so is the music I'm playing through the headphones. And hence DND is not a suitable workaround. Imagine flying 36 hours in one week with this problem ... Is there any kind of setting for this that I may have missed ?

Galaxy S22Settings.
Sounds and Vibration.
Notification Sound (or go to Advanced sound settings if necessary).
Ensure the setting that allows notifications to play through Bluetooth devices is enabled.

Galaxy S22I can't find any such setting on my S22 ultra, unfortunately. Do you know what it might be called, so that I could search for it ?

Galaxy S22Thanks. But isn't that the exact opposite of what I need ?
I want all apps and notifications to play on the same device, the bluetooth headphones. Which is what used to happen in the past, without me ever having been aware of this menu option.
I can't even try it right now because my headphones are charging and it's not possible to select the device when it's not connected.

Galaxy S22Thanks. The bluetooth settings for the (offline) Sony headphones show that they are enabled for calls, for audio, and the audio device type is set to headphones.
I do have the Sound connect app, but it won't do anything while the headphones are offline. I'll just have to wait a bit. I did play with the app while on the airplane earlier, but don't recall seeing a setting that would direct notifications away from the headphones.

Galaxy S22Thanks. I did a factory reset of my headphones, and repaired them with my S22 Ultra. The audio notifications do seem to go through the headphones, at least for the couple apps I tested - Google Messages, Google voice. However, the vibration on the phone still remains. I'm not sure if it's intended behavior or not, but it's odd, and I wish I could turn that off.
I'm not seeing any relevant setting in the Sony Sound Connect app.
