Please bring back Google Assistant when I hold the home button on my phone!!!! It's horrible without it. Worst change ever.

This is not the same but at least it can bring up the assistant. You need to turn this on too.

If you download Good Lock and install the RegiStar plug-in, you can assign the Google Assistant to back tap or press and hold on the side key.

I have mine set to activate when I triple tap the back of the phone.

I hate that the companies think it's fine to change things and not have the option to change it back, leaving us to have to find these work-arounds! Thanks for sharing tho.
