Galaxy S22Hello,
I want to be able to move photos from my Recents album to a custom album. For example, if I have a group of pictures of my dog, I want to move them to an album called "Fido", and no longer see them in my Recents album. My understanding of the use of Albums is to allow me to organize them, and make it easier to find them. But if I took a picture three days ago, and then took 137 images of Fido, I don't want to have to shuffle through those other images again; I want the Fido pictures OUT of my "Recents."
I'm sure there is a straightforward way to do this, but I've not found it via searching. I did see someone suggesting that Recents and other albums are local only, so I could move my photos to the cloud, but I'd rather not have to do that for the 4K+ photos and videos I have there.
Sincerely,
Julius Cooper

Galaxy S22@Members_ZhnIx32 Sorry but this is not possible. The Recents album is not a real album. The photos you see in the Recents album actually reside in other albums. You can see the actual location of the photos by swiping up on the photo.
What you see in the Recents album are items selected by an algorithm controlled by Samsung.
The items in the Recents album are not duplicate and do not take up extra space.
Deleting something from the Recents album deletes the item from the album it resides in and removes it from your phone.
