S22+ Won't update to UI 6.1 Android 14

I bought this phone after doing homework. And deciding the anticipated and up coming. UI 6.1 update with AI. Would be worth it. Over buying a pixel. Now I've watched everyone around me update their phones. Including my grandparents S21 over a week ago. Frustrated

The S22 is on the list, the only one not on the list is the S20.

This version has had many bugs, I am experiencing those bugs and the one you have is a bug, wait for the next update.

It should already have the update. If it is a carrier branded phone, try putting in a sim card from the original carrier *even if the device is unlocked and working on another carrier*. That often gets the update pipeline moving again.

In phone settings -> About phone what is the model name? Does it end in U or U1?

That means that it is a carrier device. A unlocked device directly from Samsung ends in U1.

Did you buy it from an individual on Amazon?

Mine ends in U1, but I got from Best buy and my sim is from TMB...yet I'm still on 5.1 w/ October '23 security patch.

I also have a firmware downloader called Frija, is that helps...
