Samsung Cloud backup option disappeared

I recently factory reset my phone and the ability to backup to or restore from Samsung Cloud has disappeared. It was there before the reset.

Did you happen to switch carriers? Samsung Cloud does not work correctly on devices locked to Verizon (U variants).

I have not switched carriers. The phone is unlocked.

Can you go to Settings > Accounts & Backup?

Did you sign in into your samsung account when you 1st open your settings app? At the top of the screen?

Diamond suite 18, did you ever find a solution to your issue? I'm in the same boat as I lost everything after a factory reset

No. I tried Samsung tech support but they were of no help.
