I have spent countless hours & multiple trips to the Att store to have my S22 Ultra "fixed". After finding out finally that it is a known issue, I called Samsung who shuttled me over to ATT yer again. I hung up & called right back & got a very knowledgeable person who told me that my phone was under warranty. Great. She issued me a repair ticket & told me what shop to take it to. Went to the shop and they couldn't find the ticket in their system, so I called Samsung back & they confirmed the repair. The technician took the phone to the back and tested it. He came back & said it had been dropped 4 times & therefore Samsung would not pay for the repair. The guy on the phone from Samsung confirmed that as well. I told him that I will work in a machine shop, of course it has been dropped, but it has never been out of it's Otterbox Defender case. Heck it stll had some of the plastic film around the edges & on the back! So even though Samsung knows it's an issue and my phone was still under warranty they won't fix it. I thought Samsung was a better partner to their customers & dealers, because AT&T had no idea there was a problem. Until we got way up the chain, the store manager & I had no idea what was happening. He had never heard about it. I'm seriously considering talking to a lawyer to see if I can recoup any of my expenses. As it is I have filed an insurance claim & they are going to buy my phone back, so I'll have to go back down & pick out another phone, buy another case & spend the next 2 weeks getting it setup how I like. These phones needed to be recalled and replaced. There are hundreds of stories just like mine from Verizon, Mobile, reddit and probably many others. SAMSUNG, THIS IS A TERRIBLE WAY TO TREAT LOYAL CUSTOMERS LIKE ME. I HAVE BEEN A LOYAL CUSTOMER SINCE THE EPIX CAME OUT PROBABLY AROUND 2008? Almost 16 years or so & my wife and I have upgraded many many times throughout those years. I don't care too much for the "fruity" brand I'd phone's, but I may have to look seriously at the Pixel & Motorola lines. I hate to leave, but I simply can't take this kind of a loss while making Samsung rich!!!
