Direct Dial widget is not letting me to select a number when i select a contract wich has multiple number

When i try to add a direct dial on my home screen and select a contact which has multiple numbers, the direct dial add the first number and doesn't let me select which number to add.

my phone is s23Ultra

You should have the option to pick the number you wish to dial. Try again.

No it doesn't offer me to select the number

Use the contact widget shown on the left, not the direct dial widget.

Contact will bring up the person's contact page with all the phone numbers on it. Direct dial will only use the phone number you set as that person's default number.

thanks for updates,

i have tried the direct dial widget it prompts me to select the number for some contacts and select the default one only for other contacts

i think this is a bug

i found a solution by selecting the contact and selecting edit default contact info from the ... menu then selecting clear

by this way every time you will be prompted to select the target number
