GOOGLE MESSENGER/THEME PURCHASED

They want everyone to convert to Google Messenger and not use the regular messenger anymore. BUT I HAVE PURCHASED TOO MANY THEMES OVERTIME. AND GOOGLE MESSENGER DOES NOT DISPLAY THE color of the THEME IN THE GOOGLE MESSENGER:double_exclamation_mark: so technically if you use Google Messenger you wasted a lot of money purchasing themes from the Google store.. THIS NEEDS TO BE ADDRESSED ASAP AND MAYBE I WILL SWITCH OVER TO GOOGLE MESSENGER :double_exclamation_mark::double_exclamation_mark::double_exclamation_mark::double_exclamation_mark:

I agree! google messages need more customization features like we have in Samsung messages.

Most definitely. I don't want my messenger looking like everyone else's... I normally choose all black with color icon contact themes because they're easy on the eyes at night time... Some of the themes or actually nice looking. It is a total waste of money if you can't even get the full enjoyment out of it and you purchased it

I just don't think they thought about it when they decided to try to force everyone to use Google Messenger... DON'T GET ME WRONG GOOGLE MESSENGER IS A NICE MESSAGING APP. BUT THEY NEED TO DO THAT WITH THE REGULAR SAMSUNG MESSENGER. So we could at least enjoy the themes that we pay for... Because I have definitely spent at least $100.00 over of course of 5 years on themes alone And I keep reusing

I feel u cause I like to do my own themes especially change the bubble colors cause I most definitely don't like google messages colors at all

I think the issue is there are trying to keep up with iPhone messenger. And they're trying to make Androids compatible with iPhone messenger so that when we message iPhone users Android users won't look so generic

The best way to have Google putting more customization on the Google Messages App is by flooding the feedback option with requests.

Also, go to the Google Play Store and post a review for the Google Messages and give it only one star and complain that there's no enough customization.

Many people are doing that. 😀

Since there's always someone from Google replying to the reviews, its going to get their attention eventually. 😉
