Galaxy S23Dear Samsung Community,
I am reaching out to express my disappointment and seek assistance regarding a serious issue with my Galaxy S23 Ultra.
My device, which is only 1.5 years old, suddenly stopped functioning following a software update in the first week of December. Hoping for a resolution, I visited an authorized Samsung service center, where, after inspection, I was informed that the issue lies with the motherboard, which requires replacement. The estimated repair cost is approximately ₹40,000.
The service team assured me that there were no signs of liquid damage or physical wear and tear, confirming that my device has been well-maintained and remains in pristine condition. This makes the sudden failure all the more concerning, especially for a flagship device of this caliber.
As a loyal Samsung customer, I am extremely disappointed that a premium product like the Galaxy S23 Ultra has encountered such a critical issue in such a short period. I escalated this matter to Samsung Customer Service, but unfortunately, they closed the service request without providing a satisfactory resolution. My device is still at the service center, and I am left struggling without a phone for no fault of mine.
I request Samsung to reconsider my case and provide a fair resolution, as this appears to be a manufacturing or software-related issue rather than user negligence. I hope for prompt support from the community and the Samsung team to address this matter.
Thank you.

Galaxy S23Additionally, Samsung offers a one-year warranty. Based on the terms of service agreement that you agreed to at the time of purchase, I don't think anything will be done by Samsung beyond that period. For this reason, I always recommend users to consider purchasing phone insurance from their carriers.
