Gear 360

Hi Samsung community. Hoping for some help. I just purchased the Gear 360. The app to connect the phone is not opening. Is the issue the age of the Gear 360 (2017) and my S23 Ultra? Or is it that the app hasn't had the ability to update in so many years? I would love to use the 360 again since it's one of my favorite devices.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Most of the older devices won't work on Android 14 it's a compatibility issue if you can I would suggest returning the Gear 360

The Gear 360 and Samsung Gear 360 app can be used with certain devices. Check the following list to make sure your device is compatible.

Galaxy S20, S10, S9, S8, S7, and S6

Galaxy A9 Pro, A8 (2016 and 2018), and A7 (2018)

Galaxy Fold

Galaxy Note series

iPhone 11, 11 Pro, 11 Pro Max, XS Max, XS, XR, X, 8, 8 Plus, 7, 7 Plus, 6S, 6S Plus, and SE

@user0aQeWU1iM2 Unfortunately the Gear 360 hasn't been compatible with the OS since OS 10. 

The somewhat good news is that you can still use the device, you just need to manually configure it and take photos using the device menu and buttons.
