What s that giant white box above my pinned messages? Is that going to be advertising because then I'm done with this app

I went back to the default theme and then to messages, but i didn't have an upgrade msg, i didn't have anything. I then went back to my theme, and it was fixed. The Pic shows no upgrade msg.
