Help redeeming free 6 mo OneDrive

Hey all. I'm reaching out assistance as I have researched this to the best of my ability and cannot find an answer. Apologies if this as already been asked. I have never used this app. 

I purchased a new S23 and S23 Ultra from Samaung directly. Both came with a free 6 months of OneDrive storage. 

I followed all the instructions regarding syncing the Samsung Gallery with OneDrive as stated was needed to do first. But then it does not give me the option to redeem my free storage gift. It asks me to upgrade and pay for it.

I never received and code from Samsung to redeem this gift, as I saw someone say online when researching and troubleshooting. 

Can anyone help me with this? I spent quite a bit of money on these products and it would be nice to be able to use the gift.
