There's a couple of ways to sort them. You can arrange them in folders on your apps page, or you can create folders on your home screen(s). I do both. I sort the various apps into folders on my apps page because it makes them easier to locate. Then I add just a few folders on my home screens for the few apps I use the most. I don't need every  app cluttering up my pages.

So to sort apps on your apps page, go to your home screen and pull down the page until the settings screen shows. On the upper right is the little gear icon. Tap that. Search "home screen." Scroll down on the page until you see the option "Show apps screen button on home screen." Enable it. That will add a little icon on the bottom right of your home screen. It's a little grid of 9 dots.

When you tap that 9 dot grid, it will open your apps page. I don't think you need to enable anything else to sort the apps. You should be able to just drag and drop them where you want. If you can't, go back to that home screen settings page and make sure the positions aren't locked.

To create folders, you just put one app icon on top of another. Like say you want to put all your games in the same folder. Just keep dragging them on top of each other and a folder is created. You can then label your folders.

I hope this is what you were asking and that it helps. I'll add some screen shots.

First, you have to have the home and app screen enabled: settings/home screen/home screen layout. Select home and apps screen if it's not already selected. After that, if you swipe up from the bottom of your screen, you will pull up the apps drawer. On the top is the search bar. At the right hand side of the search bar is the 3 dot menu. Click that and select sort. You can choose from custom or alphabetical. On your home screen(s), you get to arrange thr apps you choose to show on the home screen in any order you would like.

Hey...you really don't need the app drawer icon unless you really want to have it. It's redundant because all you need to do is swipe up to get into the app drawer. It's all up to you 🙂

True! I think I used to have to upswipe do something else that it no longer does, lol. Or maybe I used it as a place marker so I didn't accidentally open whatever app or folder I had in the corner? Anyway, thanks for the reminder!
