I can no longer change my SMS tones on my S23 Ultra since the update.

Since the last update, I can no longer change my SMS tones. Please fix.

Make sure this is toggled on
Phone settings
Notification
Advanced settings
Manage notifications categories for each app
And you should be able to change them

Omg! Thank you so much for this info. I've been scratching my brain to see how can I enable an option for this. I was already starting to accept that I couldn't change this.

That's how I used to change the tones for sms. It used to say new messages. I would then click that and change the sound.

You should be able to change for each message open the message select the 3 dots in the top right and change notification

There used to be an option at the bottom that says new messages. I would click on it to customize the sound.

Make sure that the toggle I mentioned in the beginning is still toggled on
