Galaxy S23You don't have to do constant memory cleaning, device care usually takes care of itself. If you go to device care, and you see the smiley face and it says "good", you do not have to optimize (unless you want to). To keep your phone running smoothly, it's best practice to restart your phone at least once a week. You can do this automatically by setting auto optimization in Device Care and programming a day and time to restart your phone or set it to restart when necessary - the phone will not restart while you are using it. If your phone is lagging, it usually means you either have too many apps open or running in the background, and/or you have not optimized in a while. You can stop apps from unnecessarily running in the background by putting them to sleep. Sleeping apps will still work when you access them, but they will only occasionally wake up to look for updates. You can control this in the battery settings by going into background usage and turning on "put unused apps to sleep". You can then choose to select apps that you never want to go to sleep or go into deep sleep. You can also just manually choose which apps to put to sleep and leave the automatic feature off.
