Your phone can connect to Wi-Fi. It doesn't matter where the Wi-Fi signal comes from as long as it has adequate power and bandwidth for your device to connect.

True. I was able to connect to the satellite wifi , not anymore after update

So the satellite wifi send signal as far as he does like 100k miles away, in this case to my phone

One example, gps can send satellite signal !

Same here satellite gps can send wifi signal ( large band )
