Side key Bixby

Literally every single time I tap the power button to turn on the screen, bixby comes on. I use it all the time but it's almost like the delay for the long hold to activate it is too quick. Is there a way to make it take the side key longer to activate bixby?

Im not sure but you can remove bixby and go to your regular power key

In settings the side key option can untick to remove bixby

you can double tap the screen to wake it and turn it off and then train yourself to not use the side button for it. Activate it in motions and gestures. Or you can wake Bixby by voice command.

How did you turn off the Bixby from side bar? All I get when I hold it down is the blue cloud appear and no option to do anything.

You can assign Bixby or various other functions to a long press on the side button by using Good Lock's RegiStar plug-in.

I used RegiStar to assign my Bixby to a double tap on the back of the phone. I disabled the long press on the side button since it seems like it would be too easy for that setting to interfere with the regular use of the side button. (I also have it set as the power switch.)
