Since the 7 one ui update I've had quite a few customization settings go wrong, and or completely disappear in the samsung message app. . The 1st one being faces for message app notification. . This lil feature was an amazing setting/feature i was able to designate, as it would alert me which child of mine was sending me a text, (they're face would show up, rather thn the standard message app bubble). . Since the update this is no longer . . Next is, the stupid dot notification, this specific setting is shut off in settings, yet, there it is hanging out in my status bar. Edge lighting. . This feature only seems to work when it wants to. Next, upon replying to a text message, the message app icon still persists on the status bar, and will only go away when I swipe down an swipe it away. . I've fine tooth combed all the appropriate settings accordingly, I've also addressed each concern with samsung, only to get no where!!
You guys they stopped support of Samsung messages months ago we all even got pop-ups mentioning that and them suggesting we switch to Google messages which isn't a good app at all.
