Swipe Down Mystery

There's a mystery thats driving me nuts. When you pull down from the center of your phone you can see all the icons and stuff but it just drops down 1/3 of the way, when i pull down closer to the edge of the screen the full panel shows and that DRIVES ME CRAZY, i keep pulling down closer to the edge all the time and i cant find the bloody setting to disable that. In picture is the normal drop down which is ok, the other is the darn one that pisses me off.

click the little pencil Icon you see on your second picture and you can disable it there.

Pfft i thought i knew about this phone. Need to get back to learning. That was dumb. Good job 👍
