Galaxy S23I have tried every possible keyboard and app and using audio to record text works fine, AND when I say "period" I get a period. But, when I say "new line" or "new paragraph" it just spells out the words.

Galaxy S23The keyboards may not understand much more than “period”, “comma”, “exclamation mark” or “exclamation point”, “question mark”, “apostrophe”, “colon”, “semicolon” and “dash”. Check out the commands at https://thetechylife.com/how-do-i-dictate-punctuation-on-android/ and see which work for you. There may also be a difference between keyboards.

Galaxy S23Yeah, that’s been happening to a lot of people lately. The voice typing still recognizes punctuation like “period” or “comma,” but it’s stopped creating new lines or paragraphs. Seems like a recent update changed how Samsung or Google’s voice input handles those commands. You could try switching between Samsung Voice Input and Google Voice Typing in your keyboard settings to see if one works better. Hopefully, an update fixes it soon because it used to work perfectly before.
