Unable to update from the Galaxy Store app Galaxy S23 Ultra

For a while now I've been running into an issue where on the galaxy store update page it says "cannot download update as the application was not downloaded from the galaxy store. 

Galaxy s23 Ultra 1TB One UI 6.1

I download all apps from Google play store. Why is the galaxy store thinking I downloaded from there? Is this a known issue? Bug? Glitch? I did troubleshooting steps, cleared data on both stores, phone cache everything. Reset settings and still says it. Anyone???

Just clarifying you download apps that would show in the galaxy store with Google playstore? If so that would be reason it may not work on the galaxy store

I mean Netflix for example... I downloaded from Google play store. But in galaxy store says can't update. Shouldn't it know where I download from?

Don't believe Netflix would show in galaxy store but would in Google playstore if that's where you're getting updates for Netflix use the playstore

It showing you the update in both the Galaxy store and the playstore because the app can be downloaded from either store this is normal been happening for at least a year now that I can remember.

The issue is the Google play store one is updated but it's still saying update in galaxy store.

On mine once I update the playstore version it disappears in the galaxy store I close the Galaxy store after the updates are done and reopen and its gone
