Purchased a smart tag 2 and ever since, about twice a day I receive an unknown tag may be following you message. when searching for unknown tags, nothing is found. Anyone else experience this?
Could the tag be entering deep sleep briefly? would encrypted location setting cause this issue? Could there actually be an unknown tag attached to my car that is set to power saving and is waking up momentarily to update the owner of its location?
I had this happen to me for a while, too. I finally did a firmware update on the Smart Tag, and that seemed to put an end to it. Maybe give that a try?
