Every single time Samsung pushes an update to my Samsung Galaxy S23 ultra it kicks out my special contacts I have reserved on do not disturb so they can call me after my phone switches to do not disturb This has happened numerous times with numerous updates and it's caused some major problems not thrilled with Samsung's lack of ability to provide quality software/OS
A lot of people have complained about this. I've noticed it happening on my phone too.
Until Samsung fixes this issue, the only thing that I can think to do is to star your favorite contacts and make sure DND is set to allow starred contacts. This is an older feature and it still seems to work on my phone.
