Galaxy S23I have a Galaxy S23. For some time now, at least with the last two updates, I have noticed that when I listen to WhatsApp voice messages that are longer than 30 seconds and put the phone to my ear, the screen turns on and the audio stops after 30 seconds.
I have also tried in Galaxy S24 and same issue.
I am not the only one with this problem.
Will Samsung fix this issue?

Galaxy S23Hi all, I have been facing this issue since ages and I may finally have found the solution for this please try following these steps and see if it occurs again.
- Open your settings and go to device care.
- Tap on battery
- Then tap on "background usage limits
- Tap on "never auto sleeping apps"
- Add WhatsApp to that list
At this point try again. It worked for me and also resolved a similar issue I had been having with my music player.
Previously, I had set WhatsApp with "unrestricted" battery activity in the background but that did not fix the issue meanwhile my steps did so far.
Best of luck!
