Cache still remains after clearing it on apps

Have you guys noticed after the 6.1.1 UI update, when you clear cache on any app it doesn't bring the cache to 0 but keeps some with the app? It's never done that before, and I'm just wondering if anyone is also having issues with this. And yes the apps are closed in the background.

If you're okay with it, try uninstall and reinstall

This is happening with all the apps even system apps. And yes I have tried that as well that hasn't worked 😞

Try killing all active apps and then clear the cache. If the app is active when you clear its cache it should rewrite the cache with the existing parameters for that running app. Though it may be slimmed down quite a bit.
