I just bought the s24 plus today and decided to update the software before i did anything else. It's now asking for a password to unlock the screen and i swear i never set one up. It's rejected every possible password. It won't even let me turn the phone off to factory reset it without a password. Is this a me problem or did the update somehow mess this up?
Because I just setup/activated the e-sim on a Verizon version (ordered from Samsung) S24 Ultra 512 gb today and it went right thru easy peasy. Also disabled the physical sim in her old phone at the same time. It was a line upgrade with no change in plans if that makes a difference.
