Contact storage is killing the battery on my Galaxy S24 Ultra, watch 4 and watch 6. This problem is reoccurring every time there is an update. Has been happening with my prior S21 and S23 phones. Sad that years later they still have not fixed these bugs. Probably time to grudgingly switch to IOS!

Storage does not use battery resources. Contacts do not use battery resources. Something else is going on that's using your battery.

Wish that were true, but the contact storage service is killing the battery and there are dozens of posts about it for years now. Samsung has been no help!

Thats not storage, thats sync, which is completely different. Not once, either in my S10, or my current A54 has this item ever appeared in my battery usage and I have always had my contacts syncing with Google. Where are you syncing to-Samsung Pass? Try turning the sync off or syncing with Google and see what happens.
