Why is the default color for the emojis yellow, representing Caucasian. Can a feature be developed that will keep the skin tone you want?

Any emoji that has a tiny arrow on the top right of it can be pressed to reveal different skin tones, like the thumbs up emoji, for example. I don't think that yellow represents Caucasian, I just think it's the generic neutral color. Here is a Caucasian thumbs up šŸ‘šŸ»

Yes I realized my point is I should be able to set a default of whatever color I want. It's frustrating always having to choose

Once you choose it should stay. I chose that for my thumbs up a long time ago and it never reverted back to yellow.

I use the emoji selector from the Samsung keyboard. Not sure if that makes a difference from say using gboard or another keyboard.

It will stay whatever color you choose til whenever you get a new phone then you have to change it all over again, yes that's very annoying

Yellow = Caucasian.  Wow.  There is actually a peach skin tone in these, so your attempt at pretending to be a victim of racism just turns out to be good old ignorance.  I guess I should be decrying racism as the default is not a color I identify with!

I guess I just forget that the only people who are racist are Caucasians!
