All of a sudden if a search on Google Chrome from my Galaxy S24 Ultra, it's using Microsoft Bing. This has never happened before. Have there been recent changes? I read that could be a malware hijacker or something? Should I be concerned? How do I go go back to only using Gogle Chrome? That's what I'm launching to do my search.

Open chrome on your phone

tap the 3 dots in the top right corner

scroll down to settings

and under Basics

Search Engine

change to Google

It doesn't matter. It still randomly changes to Bing. I even have a paid antivirus service. It started after an update.

I did that. I also deleted SwiftKey which is now owned by MS. Also deleted every MS app on my phone.

Bing still comes up when I search even though it says Chrome is my default.

Same here. My default search engine is Google, but when I do a search it automatically switches to bing.

Mine also started doing this a few days ago. Why is there no option to remove bing from drop down suggestions?
