Google chrome screen is black

When I open Google chrome the screen is black.  Onc

e I have searched, the information is then back to normal. Why is this and how do I change it.

Try clearing the Google Chrome cache. If clearing the cache doesn't work, then proceed to uninstall the Chrome app, then reinstall it.

Steps to clear app cache;
- Hard press on the Chrome app
- Tap on the info (i) top right
- Storage
- clear cache
- restart your device
