Homeup backup/restore

Does anyone know if the backup qnd restore in homeup functions like it does in settings. will I be able to transfer my diy home screen to a new phone when I upgrade. Or will I have to redo it

Depends on the new phone and if the homescreen is compatible. Sometimes it will and then require an update.
