With that being said I tend to have one earbud in my ear with my phone listening to music when I get in my car it automatically disconnects so I didn't have to stop what I'm doing and then push the music back to my earbud which I don't understand why that has to happen if it's already in my ear why is the system forcing it to go through the car Bluetooth. Two the other day I was listening to nothing but I had that earbud in as I was driving because there's a leg with my car and the radio it's a Subaru, so it forced the sound to go through the radio I could not put it back in my ear and it almost made me turn late for my turns cuz I was not looking at my phone I could not get the sound back in my ear even with stopping and restarting the car on the side of the road and trying to do the double tap in the ear to get the sound in my ear there is no option even on my phone pull down sound enforcing it to go into other areas because my earbud was not even seen cuz there was no media playing is there a way of having the phone sync to the earbuds and keeping that as a main source instead of having to disconnect and shut off the entire Bluetooth to the radio?
How old is your car that it is not compatible with Android Auto? All cars with BT connectivity since at least 2012 are compatible with Android Auto. Also, Android Auto is NOT the same as just simply connecting to the car's BT. You can likely stop the auto switching from the buds to the car by making sure your phone is unpaired from your car in both the car's BT settings and your phone (unpairing from one should unpair from the other, but make sure). The only reason it is automatically switching from the buds to the car, is that your phone at some point has been paired with the car.
