I have a S24 on Verizon. After the September update location services aren't working right. Apps keep asking for permissions yet they are set. Google maps acts up alot.
Reached out to support on X and they had me do a soft reset with power cord connected. It seemed to help but 10 min later apps were asking for location permission. Especially Facebook. They said to post on the community for visibility.
Haven't had any other issues, and it started right after that update went through.
They is also a Google Play Services update you haven't installed yet.
These updates are critical for all Google Services to perform properly.
Go to settings, Security and Privacy.
Look for soft are updates, it will probably have a green check mark, ignore that. Open, tap on Google Play Services, it will check for an update. Then if there is an update, it will say downlo
Thanks for the reply. Checked and says up to date as of August 1, 2024. When I tell it to check it comes back no updates available. Tried a couple times. Any other suggestions?
