Lock screen text not showing

I've added text to my lock screen but it's not displaying.

What text? How? What feature? What exactly are you attempting to accomplish?

Tap settings > lock screen > edit lock screen
Tap text box. Enter text. Tap done.
The text I entered does not appear on the lock screen. The feature worked fine on my S22 ultra but doesn't on my S24+.

[Updated] I was able to recreate the issue and found that if restarted the phone after entering and saving the text, that the text that I entered finally appeared, but then disappeared if I had extended lock on.

Thank you for checking. If I turn off extended lock the text shows. I'm wondering if this is a glitch.

I don't believe its a glitch. It's been that way forever. There is no need to have the emergency information text showing if extend unlock is on, as the phone is unlocked and, presumably, in your possession and you don't need to see it.

That's not true.  I also depends on what parameters you picked for extend unlock. If you chose home unlock, be aware that it is informed by Google Maps and Maps does not always know the square footage of your home and also has some addresses listed incorrectly, especially if you are in a multi unit dwelling.  The best way to keep extend unlock active at home is to create a routine whereby you have it activate while connected to your home wi-fi network (or any network where you want your phone to remain unlocked).  Also be aware that, regardless of your parameters,  extend unlock only keeps your phone unlocked for up to 4 hours at a time, after which you will have to unlock it (biometrically or with pin/password), where it will remain unlocked for another 4 hours.  It also locks immediately after a missed phone call or notification (for privacy reasons). After 72 hours, as is standard for these phones, you will still have to unlock your phone via pin or password (no biometrics)
