I'm looking to activate link sharing on Galaxy 24+ but it no longer shows up in messaging.
I used to use it often on my 23+. I'm highly unsatisfied with this.
I have logged out and in of my Samsung account, my text messaging is updated, my phone is updated, and nothing has helped.
Somebody please help! One of the only reasons I have stayed with Samsung through how horrible these phone have been getting is that I used to love sharing high quality images/videos from messaging via turning on link sharing. To have this feature gone us disappointing and frustrating.

No. Link sharing used to be an option directly in Messages app. It no longer exists, at least not on my S24+.
On my S22+ I would open a message, select the little button to show my photos, the bottom left would have an icon if I wanted to open my entire gallery and the bottom right would have a cloud icon that I could turn on or off depending if I wanted to send a picture/video in mediocre regular message quality or if I wanted to share maximum quality via link share. But that link sharing cloud with on/off was replaced by a useless icon that allows me to change from normal / high quality / original quality which is useless for sending panoramics, videos and similar media that gets distorted and pixilated when being sent as a regular message.

I believe link sharing was changed to be included in quick share. If you go to share an item click quick share you will see an option for share with qr code or link. Best I have been able to find.

Yeah, I had to do the same work around. Go to my gallery (photo/video) then choose item(s) and do as you described: quick share and either share QR or the link that finally gets generated at that point.
WAY less convenient than when I could just stay in my messages and have the linkshare turned on when I wanted to use it.
What made Samsung think it was a good idea to take away the ease of the old way? Couldn't they have just kept it alongside this newer more cumbersome version with so many more steps?
