Help! Every time I unlock my phone, or close any active app, or transition between apps, my phone automatically launches my browser and opens the website of a particular banking/payment app (the name of whom I'm not permitted to type here, for some reason).
I have un-installed said payment app, and that DID stop it auto-launching my default browser, but it still ATTEMPTS to launch (prompts me for which browser to use).
The problem persists even after I restart the device, clear browser cache & browsing, history etc.
This is so frustrating! I hope someone can offer insight/help on this.
This issue just started a few days ago, shortly after making a payment from the ca$h app. I had not changed any settings in the app. Have had the ca$h app on my device(s) for years, but never had this happen before now.
If anyone has any resolution for this, please help!
