I said it all in the title thinking that was the post. To elaborate, when I want to change my text notification sounds it defaults to Zedge. Zedge is **bleep** and isn't working anyway so I can't change my sounds at all.
Does someone know how I can change that setting so that I can pull sounds from my phone?
The first thing you want to do is enable notification categories for each app in Settings>Notifications>Advanced settings>Manage notification categories for each app. Once this is done, you can select different notification sounds to your heart's content. You can even assign each person you text with a unique sound so you can know who is texting you before you look at your phone.
Yeah I've done all that and that isn't the issue. The issue is that it's only allowing me to chose sounds from Zedge. The other issue is that Zedge isn't working. So since I can only chose sounds from Zedge andZedge doesn't work, I cant chose any new sounds. Note: It used to present me with options as to where to get the sound from. No longer. Zedge only.
