No longer can use my Gear because I upgraded phones. Useless products!

I have Gear that I can no longer use because I upgraded phones.  That is ridiculous.  Samsung has done this to me too many time that I will never buy another accessory of theirs and I hope nobody else does either. My stuff still works perfectly but I can't use it at all. I would still use most of them today if I could.  Theft happens in different ways I guess.

Its not just Samsung, I bought my daughter the Apple Watch 9 and she can't even use it because of her iPhone 7

As technology advances, older devices will become obsolete and incompatible with newer devices. This is inevitable.
