Galaxy S24Hi Samsung Community,
I'm writing to express my growing frustration with the delayed launch of One UI 7 for the Galaxy S24 series. It's disheartening to see that many of us, including myself, feel like Samsung is prioritizing the upcoming S25 series at the expense of its current flagship users.
When we invest in premium devices like the Galaxy S series, we expect a seamless user experience that reflects the high price tag. Yet, the delayed update and the perceived lack of attention to previous models leave us feeling shortchanged.
I've seen numerous complaints on Reddit, with many users (myself included) expressing a desire to switch back to iPhones or even consider Google Pixel devices. This sentiment is echoed throughout the online tech community.
Furthermore, the rollout of security patches for previous-generation flagships has been disappointingly slow. It's unacceptable that users in Hong Kong, for example, received the January security patch in February. This is simply not the level of support we expect for devices that were once top-of-the-line.
I urge Samsung to address these concerns and prioritize its existing customer base. We deserve timely updates, consistent security patches, and a clear demonstration that our investment in the Galaxy S series is valued.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Galaxy S24You need to address your dissatisfaction with Samsung to the corporate offices, not a user forum, where nothing can be done about it. You mention you "expect a seamless user experience that reflects the high price tag." A consumer makes a choice about how much they are willing to pay for any given object. No one forces them to fork over the money. When you purchase ANYTHING, you are purchasing it as it is at the moment. If your phone is running fine while waiting for the update, then you have your seamless experience. You were promised a certain amount of support, not a schedule of updates. If a company decides to prioritize a newer product over an aging one, that is their right. It is also basic marketing. Newer devices get newer features. Older devices have different hardware, and things must be made to "fit". I don't know why this is so hard for people to understand.

Galaxy S24I would not be frustrated but I switched from Motorola to Samsung S24 Ultra a year ago because I was told then that the S24 would receive a One UI update that would put the option back in the Good Lock app for us to have vertical drawer scrolling. Even though every forum I read said Samsung confirmed it would be in the 6.1 update then the 6.1.1 update and then the UI 7 would have it for s24 the same week the S25 would be realeased. Now they are saying most likely not even until April. Now Im hearing rumors that they don't now how to fix the issues and that they have spent 3 years trying to figure it out but it seems they aren't any closer.
Can any S25 owners confirm that it actually has vertical app drawer scrolling. I will not trade in my S24 for one because I'm going back to Motorola or Pixel when the S24 is paid off and I can no longer tolerate it.
