Power button won't perform turn off/restart actions

@AliAnn If you want to use the side button to power off the phone:

1. Open phone settings
2. Click on Advanced features
3. Click on Side button
4. Click on Long press
5. Change it to Power off menu

Do you mean diagnostics? No need for that, it's a settings option.

It's a settings option. See @LongHiker's response to the original post for how to change it back.
The way to turn off your phone with it enabled is either by pressing the power button in the quick access panel, or holding the volume down and power button at the same time.

By default, you must long press the side key and Volume down button simultaneously to activate the power menu.
