I just noticed i couldn't add a shortcut. 
It would freeze on my home page, then the screen would flash and I would be back to my homepage, without the shortcut added. 

UPDATE:

I drove to get dinner, and attempted to add the shortcut again. SUCCESS.

No good, doesn't help.
