Galaxy S24Hello,
Can anybody explain to me why Samsung took away Norwegian from the S Pen supported list of languages? It's really one of the primary reasons why I bought this phone.

Lack of Norwegian customers or the AI is providing the language packs. I'm not sure, but that is not good.

Unfortunately, this change resulted in the removal or limited support of some languages, including NorwegianSamsung recently made a change to the S Pen's translation feature, switching from Google Translate to Samsung Translate with the One UI 6.1. Unfortunately, this change resulted in the removal or limited support of some languages, including Norwegian
The reason behind this decision isn't entirely clear, but it might be due to the integration with Samsung's own translation service, which may not yet support as many languages as Google Translate did
I understand how frustrating this must be, especially since it was a key feature for you. You might want to reach out to Samsung support or share your feedback through the Samsung Members app to let them know how important this feature is to you. They might consider adding it back in future updates.
Would you like some help with drafting a message to Samsung support?
Sure! Here's a draft message you can send to Samsung support:
**Subject: Request to Re-Add Norwegian Language Support for S Pen**
Dear Samsung Support Team,
I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to express my concern regarding the recent update to the S Pen's translation feature with the One UI 6.1 update, which transitioned from Google Translate to Samsung Translate.
As a user who frequently relies on the S Pen for translation purposes, I was disappointed to find that the Norwegian language is no longer supported. This feature was one of the primary reasons I chose to purchase my Samsung device, and its removal has significantly impacted my user experience.
Norwegian is an important language for me, and I believe it is for many other users as well. Therefore, I kindly request that you consider re-adding Norwegian language support to the S Pen's translation feature in future updates.
Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to hearing from you and hope for a positive resolution.
Best regards,
