I have a Samsung S24 that is not "seeing" my new Wifi router's 6E network. It connects to regular WiFi 6 only. My husband's S23+ connects to the 6E network flawlessly. The router is a Google Nest Pro with two satellites working as a mesh network in my home. We're in the USA.

Shouldn't my S24 connect to the 6E WiFi network? Are there settings I need to change to get it to work?

Thank you.

From what I found it's 6ghz that's needed on the router fir 6e to work so maybe not compatible with that

I would troubleshoot with google, or whoever else made you're router I believe I read it was a Google router though. The S24 Ultra supports 6E. I have Verizon FiOS gigabit Wi-Fi with a 6E router and I connect to the 6E almost constantly on my S24U. This phone even supports Wi-Fi 7 so it's highly likely to be a router problem not your phone because I didn't do anything special to mine or turn any settings on or off for it to connect to that band. It just defaults to it If it's clean enough of a signal. If I'm up on the third floor, I connect only to the regular Wi-Fi 6 since the router is in the sub basement but any other floor closer to the router and I'm automatically using 6E. It is a shorter range and more prone to interference just like 5 gigahertz was to 2.4 gigahertz
