I have taken my phone to a certified tech. They replaced the charging port but the issue still continues.
My 96w Mac laptop does work on it.
Samsung has told me to ship it in because it is under warranty. My issue is the 5-7 business days that it will take. What happens if I'm face with an emergency. I have no phone. Of course I can always go buy one. But what's the point of buying insurance through this company. They won't provide me a loaner for this **bleep** poor product they sold me.
I've been a loyal supporter for all Samsung products; watch, phone, and TV. This whole experience has made me look to buying iPhone next.
In the past, the Wireless Carrier will lent you a phone while yours is on repair. That is not possible as today. Why not to purchase the cheapest smartphone on the market, and have as a spare for events like this? Better been safe than sorry...just saying...
