S24 ultra to dim in sunlight

In the sunlight or day time. I can't really see my phones screen.

On power cycle it will be brighter then when it's on for a second it dims. The settings are full brightness any ideas?

Have you got adaptive display set on your phone?

I am also experiencing the same issue, and I do not have adaptive display enabled on my device.

I do use it but even with it off it doesn't help

If it is hot out and you are in the sun with brightness all the way up this will cause the screen to dim because your phone is getting to hot (overheating)

I had this happen to me I was walking to pick my kids up from school it was sunny and about 90 degrees outside and I was watching a baseball game while walking let it cool down and everything was back to normal
