Galaxy S24Description:
I have my screen timeout set to 15 seconds on my Samsung Galaxy S24+, but I’ve noticed that when I pause videos in apps like TikTok or streaming platforms, the screen stays on indefinitely instead of following the 15-second timeout setting. I’ve already confirmed that Smart Stay is off and that the screen timeout is correctly configured in the settings.
Can you help me resolve this issue or provide guidance on how to ensure the timeout setting works as intended in all situations?

Apps can override that setting. It would be extremely frustrating to be watching a movie and have the screen go off every 15 seconds.

Yh it would, but When I pause a video in apps like TikTok and leave my phone, the screen stays on indefinitely. Even if I return an hour later, the phone is still on, ignoring the 15-second timeout setting.

Have you reached out to the developers of those apps for a resolution?
