Smarttag 2 Search Nearby AR View Not Functional

I don't get the option to use AR to find the tag, I have tried reinstalling updates AR Core for Google Play Services, but no dice. Is anyone else experiencing this issue as well?

Yeah for some reason the AR search isn't available right now I keep waiting for it too appear.
