They heard you, Samsung has brought back the ability to hide your Navigation Bar and Swipe Gestures.

You will have to download Goodlock and specially NavStar once installed toggled on NavStar, Enable extra gesture settings.

Go to settings. Display, navigation, show more, have fun again.

Ps. If you already have both apps and you are not seeing those options, Open Goodlick again scroll to NavStar, tap on the more, go to store, there will be an update waiting. For some reason it isn't showing up in updates

I used that and One hand operation + module from Good Lock app(still using that because I need a way to go back and back and back... and not a swipe to go home and a swipe to the side to get to recent apps) and I refuse to get home buttons back because I don't wanna lose screen room..

They broke the navigation for the stupid circle search. All we can do is pester them to add it back in goodlock

Swipe for navigation is much, much easier anyway. And you can change specific notification sounds. It's just more complicated to get to now. Youtube it.

I get that they want to push AI down my intestines but changing the navigation bar to do that is absurd. I have absolutely no need for a navigation shortcut for Google Assistant and definitely not for Bixby.

I thought Good Lock would solve this but no. The swipe from the sides to go back and swipe up and hold to open the apps are bad, ugly, tacky.

The most unlikely place you'll see me accidentally swiping is from the bottom of the screen, not right where my thumb is.

The swipe up to open apps makes it look slow and poorly designed.

Whoever's baby it was to make this design change needs to own up that it absolutely sucks and makes zero sense.

Old swipe gestures. Swipe up from lower left for the app carousel, swipe up from the bottom for home, swipe up from the upper right for back.

Good lock allows me to access these options in settings, but if I switch to swipe gestures, I lose the AI function UNLESS I enable showing the gesture hints.

Good lock was updated to include the old swip functionality. You can still use AI functionality. Just swipe up and hold for google assistant or just hold the center at the bottom with no swipe' as if it were a button, for circle to search.

You will not lose Ai functions, I just tested them, just long press where the home button would be on the very bottom of the screen!

Same here! I can't stand this new side swift option, the only version of the icon-free never bar! Where did all the settings go!? I can't even reach the left edge with my thumb to swipe! Swiping up from the bottom right and left was so much more manageable, now I have to have the stupid icons or else I can't navigate, and can't stand the bottom center swip up and hold function that's so slow!
